Fitness Tip of the Day: Just because you see someone else performing a particular exercise either on the internet, in the gym or on T.V. does not mean that movement/exercise is beneficial or appropriate. It is EXTREMELY important to follow proper progressions when it comes to exercise difficulty. Learn to become completely efficient with your current fitness challenge level, and follow proper progression through specificity to increase the load and continue your growth. If you are uncertain of what to do, work with a fitness professional to not only learn WHAT to do, but HOW to do it properly, and WHY it is beneficial for you to perform it.
